Austrian Post operates a comprehensive risk management system which is based on the COSO standard and encompasses all business units and Group companies. The objective is to identify, analyze and evaluate risks at an early stage and to take appropriate measures to support the achievement of corporate goals. Governance: The Supervisory Board and the Audit Committee monitor the risk management system. The Management Board is responsible for the Group's opportunity and risk profile and is supported by the Risk Committee. Reporting and monitoring: The Group risk management team reports regularly to the administrative, management and supervisory bodies and supports them in their decision-making. Objectives and risk policy: The risk policy is geared towards safeguarding the company's existence and sustainably increasing its value. Risks are only taken if the resulting portfolio of opportunities and risks is balanced and they are within the framework of the company's legal conditions and fundamental ethical values. Risk management process: Austrian Post's risk management process encompasses the identification, assessment, control and monitoring of risks. The process is carried out every six months and includes the support of the corporate divisions and project management teams by the Group risk management team. The results are documented in risk management software.
